Everyone on this page seems to be talking about the bad acting in Episode II, so I want to tell you something.
At some point, I was trying to make a Lego Star Wars parody series on YouTube, with just random skits about scenes in Star Wars. You Know how a lot of actors in Star Wars are British? Here is an original idea for a skit based off the elevator scene in Episode II.
Obi-wan: Anakin, you can’t date Padme, she’s a politician!
Anakin: So?
Obi-wan: But Anakin, she’s not British!
Anakin: Neither am I.
Obi-wan: But Anakin, you become British in Episode III!
Anakin: How would you know that?
Obi-wan: Anakin, I read the script!
Anakin: Ummm… Where’d you get that?
Obi-wan: Anakin, I stole it from George Lucas! Obviously!

It’s the filming of Ep II. And it’s the Padme and Anakin by the fire and talking about their emotions scene. Then George Lucas yells cut and starts chewing Anakin out.

Anakin: You told us to act emotional!
Lucas: I didn’t mean for you to turn this into Twilight!
