I ended up getting a gameboy color with money from my grandparents during the summer, and about a week later, this kit by a company called Pelican Accessories. This is very good for playing on the go. It comes with a screen light, battery pack, carrying case, Gameboy Pocket battery adapter, ac adapter for the battery pack, a control cover for “improved” gameplay, and is compatible with gameboy color and pocket. Also compatible with gameboy light, but the gameboy light already has a backlit screen.
