Hello everyone, and welcome to the first matchup on Versus! Today’s battle will be Mace Windu vs Kylo Ren! Yeah, it’s gonna be awesome! But first, let me explain how all this is going to work. So, first I will list the stats of the two competitors, which will include combat skill, force skill, physical condition, and mental condition. Then, you guys, the SFs, will vote down below who you think would win, then you can read how I think it might go down. Alright, let’s get into it!

Mace Windu

Mace Windu was a legendary Jedi Master and a member of the Jedi Council. He served as a Jedi General in the Clone Wars and as a leader of the Jedi. He was one of the Order’s greatest warriors during the last days of the Jedi.

Stats:

Combat skill: Mace Windu wielded a purple lightsaber, which symbolized that he used both dark and light sides of the force. He often used Form VII, also known as Vaapad or Juyo, which was known to be an aggressive form that dark-siders used. However, Mace never fell victim to the dark side, but instead, learned to use it without giving in. Otherwise, Mace was an extremely skilled duelist and beat many foes during the course of his life.

Force skill: Mace was a master of the force, and had many abilities such as enhanced reflexes, agility, telekinesis, and even the ability to see the future! He could use his telekinesis to push back enemies and pull them towards him. He was even powerful enough to lift individuals off the ground! He could also use the force to do acrobatics and leap from heights without being injured. He could also use the Jedi Mind Trick to persuade weak-minded individuals to his will.

Physical condition: Built strong, Windu was in peak condition as a champion of the Order, and easily defeated foes.

Mental condition: Mace was very strong mentally, as he could use Vaapad and not be seduced by the dark side. He was also a tactical thinker and made good decisions in the heat of a battle.

Alright, now let’s take a look at our next challenger, Kylo Ren!

Kylo Ren

Kylo Ren, formerly known as Ben Solo, was a dark side warrior, and leader of the Knights of Ren. He was the Supreme Leader of the First Order, who struggled between both dark and light sides. The grandson of Darth Vader, he vowed to finish what the Dark Lord had started.

Stats:

Combat skill: A ruthless opponent, Kylo Ren was known as a brutal adversary on the field of battle. He was even called “the prize student” by one of his former classmates. He was even skillful with the unconventional back-handed grip, and could fight multiple enemies at once! Ren wielded a red, crackling lightsaber, with two cross-guards. He used a combination of both Sith and Jedi teachings, making him a dangerous opponent.

Force skill: Similar to his combat, Kylo used both dark and light sides of the force, which made him devastatingly powerful. The Skywalker heir, he possessed much raw power, making him one of the most powerful force users. He, like most force users, could use telekinesis, but in many various ways. For instance, he could collapse an entire building down with the force, and even freeze blaster bolts and incoming lightsaber blades. He could even probe another’s mind and control their thoughts. When he managed to focus his uncontrollable rage, his abilities were enhanced even more, making him near impossible to beat.

Physical condition: Ren was not only strong when it came to the force, but also when it came to physical strength. Since he was in his prime of life, he was strong and agile, even able to do acrobatics!

Mental condition: When it came to controlling his emotions, Kylo was an absolute wreck. He had a raging temper and often made rash decisions, letting his emotions get the better of him.

Okay, now for the moment you’ve all been waiting for, let’s see how it might play out. Before we do, though, comment below who you guys think would win. Comment “Stooky” for Mace, and comment “Fizzpop” for Kylo. Ok, let’s begin!

The two ignite their sabers, eyes locked. Kylo makes the first move, quickly walking forward towards Mace. He swings his saber, but Mace blocks it. The two enter a deadly dance of purple and red light, swinging their blades all about. Then Mace force pushes Kylo across the room, into a wall. He is enraged, and begins to rip up the floor and throw multiple chunks at Mace, which he slices in half with ease. He then leaps across the room over to Kylo, and uses Form VII against him. He hits Kylo multiple times and is about to end him when Kylo freezes him. He then attacks him brutally, but Mace blocks all the hits and waits for him to slip up. Kylo gets more and more angry and aggressive, and he lets his guard down, allowing Mace to force leap over him and then hold him in the air, where he is unable to overpower him.

Winner: Mace Windu
Reason: While Kylo is the Skywalker heir and has much raw power, his rage was his downfall. He became too absorbed in his anger that he allowed himself to slip up so that Windu could overpower him. Plus, Mace Windu has had much more experience than Kylo as a Jedi Master.
