But a special thanks to Sithlord_DarthMaul for the big help he has been with this case file. He’s written more chapters than me and he’s helping so much. Also… W warrior cats! But anyway, here’s the case file so far! (Also please anybody can make a chapter everybody do it!)
Is Dwight a Magic Squirrel Case File
The Origami Yoda Chapter By StarWadsProd Every case file comes with a question. Is Origami Yoda real, will Darth Paper defeat Origami Yoda, can the Fortune Wookiee give advice that could rival those of Origami Yoda, can the gang defeat FunTime. These are all case files made by the gang. They all start with a question. So, here’s mine. Is Dwight a Magic Squirrel. Proof is everywhere, including the man that started it all. Origami Yoda. You see, as Harvey would say, how could a piece of paper have ability to the force? It just a piece of paper right? Wrong! He can see the future, use the force, and make smarter decisions than real people can. But how is that possible? Well, think about it. What if Dwight is a magic squirrel. Then he could tap into the force to give Origami Yoda the ability to tap onto the force. I mean nobody else can! Mike has tried it, Tommy has, Kellen as well! They all failed! Other than Origami Yoda, nobody can tap into the force. Unless Dwight can. And think about it. Think of all the powerful people you know in books. Dumbledoor, he’s not your average person. He’s not even your average wizard. Voldemort. He has the same nose as a snake! Spider man, he likes to have fun while he’s saving New York City! Dwight is also weird! I mean, somebody trying to pull a comb with “mummified boogers” on it out of in between a seat cannot be taken as a normal person. I just know that Dwight has to be something powerful. And he literally says he’s a magic squirrel! How can this not all point to the fact he’s a magic squirrel!
Dwight’s Holes
By SuperFolder HugoThomasFord
I would like to think of Dwight as a magic squirrel. Although this is most likely not true, here is some evidence to support this theory. Dwight digs his famous holes. Squirrels are known to do this too, hiding their nuts for the winter.
StarWad’s comment: It is true that he makes holes. And I just got evidence that backs your theory up! Remember how he got suspended? It was from about November to January… winter months. He was sorta hibernating! (I do know that squirrels don’t hibernate but still…)
Squirrel from Shili
By SuperFolder Sithlord_DarthMaul
Thats an awesome idea! Thanks StarWadProd!
Allright, let’s go…
Is Dwight a Magical Squirrell?
What makes a magical squirrel? Does a magical squirrel always seem like a squirrel? Dwight is a Jedi, thats for sure. Have you seen “Tales of the Jedi”? The series proves that squirrels DO exist in the Star Wars Universe. Dwight always said that he’s a “magical” squirrel. So he’s supposed to be magic. Yeah, maybe Dwight does NOT use the force. He uses magical powers! WHAT THE JABBA?! Is it possible that Dwight is not a Jedi? Is he just a Squirrel from the planet ”Shili” born with magical powers,so he came to earth and made Tommy believe that he’s a Jedi master? Maybe he is even just a squirrel from EARTH with magical powers!!!!! And with his magical powers he TRANSFORMED into a human!!!!!!!!! But he does know a lot about Star Wars so I guess he is a squirrel from “Shili”. I hate saying this, but OMG! Maybe he “installed” the power into Origami Yoda and sent him to Micah!
I think you’re right Star Wars Prod!
Dwight is a magical squirrel!
StarWad’s Comment: This is a very true argument. And thanks, now I’m going to start watching “Tales of the Jedi”! Though I will disagree on him installing the power into OY. My chapter wasn’t out when you made yours but read mine for more information.
The Analysis
By Sithlord_DarthMaul
Allright,I am going to analyze Dwight’s Behave.I was actually very confident about Dwight’s squirrel existence. But…I have a question that has been bothering me for some time…but more on that later!
Book 1:Dwight is acting very weird in this book.I mean…weirder than in the other books! You see,He slides around on the floor to mop up juice. That IS weird! He also asked squirrels for help several times. But they never came… The book doesn’t yet make it clear that Dwight and Origami Yoda are separate people…Sara mentioned his holes …Squirrels DO make holes but they hide their food in there. They don’t sit in the holes! I don’t see a squirrel-behave in this book,do you?
Book 2:It becomes clear that Dwight is quite capable of making plans and is aware of how he comes across to others.Dwight meintoines his father and we see his mother!Or perhaps they are simply the product of his possible magical powers. But…that is…you know…kind of sad!
Dwight seems very human in this book to me…not squirrely!
Book 3:He seems like a broken man…He is acting like a normal person! It wasn’t even hard!
Where is his squirrel-power?
Book 4:He reminds me of Obi-Wan in this book. He’s not acting normal in this book. He’s trying to help the McQuarrie-students and starts being Captain Dwight. And is finishing it.
But honestly, just image you are a magical squirrel…
Don’t you have anything better to do than go to school and help some kids?
Book 5:Dwight refers to himself for the first time as a magical squirrel. He makes clearly that he don’t want to be a Jedi or a Captain…No he wants to be a squirrel!
Book 6:He seems like a Jedi to me,in this book.Or is it just Origami Yoda? His chapter looks very structured and concise. He proofs that he has powers but we don’t really know,is it the force,or is it magic.
OK and know the question of doom:Is Origami Yoda real?Maybe Dwight framed us with his magical powers?Look,we do not know how big his (potential)squirrel power is.If he’s a Jedi,he could use the force and make Origami Yoda. But magic…Origami Yoda and magic,NO!This is…nostrul! There are indications but no proof of its existence as a squirrel.
StarWad’s Comment:
Thank you for this information. Now we have evidence for all the Harvey’s out there to cheer about. (By the way, if it sounds like I’m annoyed about your post in this comment, I’m not, we need people to disagree)
Understanding Sithlord_DarthMaul’s Message
By StarWadProd
I get where you’re coming from, and I still and happy you added it! It’s not fun if everyone agrees! It’s not fun if everything points in our direction! Thank you! But, I’m going to go deeper and try to find an explanation. Also, I will reveal my next chapter! (Also, this analysis will be added to the case file)
Okay, so book 1, he doesn’t act squirrelish. Except for one key detail you need only briefly went over. He asks for help from squirrels. Maybe you mean that he’s asking for help because he’s being attacked by squirrels. Either way, if he’s a magic squirrel, think about it, he would ask for help from his brethren. And in history, people attack humans! Squirrels attacking squirrels???
Book 2, this seems true, but is it really Dwight making the plans? He made origami Yoda! Could Origami Yoda be making the plans?
Book 3, this one makes sense to go against our theory, but listen up. Am I the only one to read the Warrior Cat book series by Erin Hunter? Well, in book 3-4, there’s a betrayal (trying not to spoil anything) and the leader of the clan who is wise and is a Great leader. She goes into a deep depression after the betrayal. She’s a great leader, driven into depression by a close betrayal. Maybe Dwight feels kinda like this and is in a deep depression!
Book 4: this one leads into my chapter/theory, but what if Dwight is trying to help McQuarrie so they help him? He needs to become a big leader…
Book 5, he doesn’t want to be a squirrel, he reveals he already is!
Book 6, it is only Yoda! Here is my chapter and it proves it!
The most Wild, but semi-realistic theory! By StarWadProd Okay, get ready because this is a wild one. So, Dwight is a squirrel from the planet Shili. He is part of a squirrel tribe, hidden from all other life. But, he is special. He is gifted with the force. But, they aren’t the only squirrel tribe in the forest. There is a dark off shoot. They take away a squirrel from Dwight’s tribe every fortnight (two weeks). Dwight is their only hope. But, once the squirrels learned about Dwight’s force powers, they target him. Dwight becomes paranoid, but determined to save his tribe. He is sent on a mission across the galaxy, to a different galaxy. One far, far away. He explores in his ship until he finds the one planet with intelligent life in the Milky Way, Earth (by the way, I do believe in aliens and that they’re in the Milky Way). He uses a special force ability that allows him to shapeshift into a human. He uses the force to make Origami Yoda. But, much to his surprise, it drains his force abilities away. So, he has to use Origami Yoda to gain the gang’s trust. Then, they’ll come all the way to Shili and save the squirrel tribe !
StarWad’s Comment:
This came out at the same time as the next one, so that’s why they’re weird together.
Shili Debunk
By Sithlord_DarthMaul
My Shili theory was nonsense. “Tales of the Jedi” came out in 2022. The Origami Yoda books were published back in 2015. So Tom Angleberger couldn’t have been thinking anything of it when he wrote the books. So much for “Shili.” I’ve just refuted my own argument. This isn’t proof that he’s not a squirrel, but at least the Shili thing can be ruled out.
StarWad’s Comment: Nooooo! My amazing theory is debunked!
Potato
By Bobafold619
I do NOT think Dwight is a Magic Squirrel. I think he is a Magic Potato!

I think he is a Magic Potato because in one of the books he said he wasn’t a Magic Squirrel, he was a Magic Potato. That also makes sense because Magic Potato’s can talk and move. It Also makes sense because Dwight ALWAYS gets Cafeteria food and cafeteria from schools always have something potato like. But he never eats it because that would be cannibalism because HE is a potato.
StarWad’s Comment:
Thank you for disagreeing! Finally someone disagrees! And you’re not a Harvey because you have a theory of your own! Also Stooky dog.
Dwight’s Helpfullness
By lukeskyfolder03
my dwight-squirell theory is he was a magic squirrel from shili and turned into a human somehow and he has to help a certain amount of people with magic to turn back to a squirrel
StarWad’s Comment:
That’s a unique theory! It does make sense in a way.
Not Magic
By darth_platypus
Ok, I haven’t posted in a long time so no one probably remembers me but I was interested in this case file thing so here goes…
Is Dwight a magic squirrel? What I want to focus on is the squirrel part, not the magic. Could what Dwight’s friends call “typical Dwight weirdness” just be Dwight’s squirrel nature coming out while he’s trying to disguise himself as a human? As Sithlord_DarthMaul pointed out, he is weirder in the earlier books than the later, so he may be progressively learning how to fit in as a human. Let’s analyze some weird things that Dwight’s done.
1. In the first book, we see him flopping around on the floor in punch. Squirrels are also somewhat known to roll around in edible substances.
2. He takes a bite out of a mummified pickle and also loves the Rib-B-Q when no one else seems to like it. Squirrels and other wild animals eat anything edible
3. In “Emperor Pickletine Rides the Bus” Dwight is digging through a bus seat for a dirty comb. Squirrels are also known to dig for nasty things.
4. Also in “Emperor Pickletine Rides the Bus,” in the chapter, “Top 5 Weird Things Dwight Did on the Bus” he does many possibly squirrel-natured things. For number one and two, he fiddles with the seat. Squirrels are known to mess around with things. For number three, he flies up in his seat and cries, “WAAAH” every time the bus hits a bump. If he was previously a squirrel, he would have been much smaller and would have flew up every time there was a bump. He must be having a hard time familiarizing himself with his new size and weight. For number four, he gets trapped in the tiny bathroom and yells, “Squirrels! Come save me!” As a squirrel, he may not be familiar with how to use a latch. Also, he calls for squirrels (his possible friends) to come save him.
All that said, there is one thing that I’m skeptical of. If he was really a squirrel, how is he so good at origami? I mean, he’s just a squirrel! I also disagree with Sithlord_DarthMaul on one thing. If Dwight is actually transferring his magic to OY, then how does he sometimes disagree with OY?
Anyway, here’s a random image. It’s a fan made Captain Napalm comic book from Calvin and Hobbes (not made by me; found it online)
StarWad’s Comment: This is helpful! How different are magic squirrels and normal squirrels? (Okay a lot but they act the same)
Harvey’s Comment:
Of course he’s seen a magic squirrel.
FOOD!
By Sithlord_DarthMaul
I’m glad you like my Superfolder! I didn’t even try to rule out that he might be a squirrel. I just noticed that the Shili theory can’t be true. I didn’t want to come across like Harvey, sorry.
And UTINI!!!! I finally found another Warrior Cats fan! My friend and I are the only ones in our class who read the books! (I went to the Frankfurt Book Fair with her and got two autographs! I don’t have the books here because I wasn’t home over New Year’s, but I can post a picture tomorrow.)
Okay, sorry for the distraction.
Alright, back to Dwight! What I find a bit strange, as I said, is his mother. Maybe she’s a squirrel too?
By the way, when Dwight begs the squirrels for help, I meant the part where he’s locked in the equipment room. Well, maybe they thought he could handle it himself. I mean, would you come right away?
I also paid attention to Dwight’s eating habits. For example, in book 6 Dwight eats an entire bag of lime gummy candy. It is said that squirrels may occasionally consume citrus fruits, but only in exceptional situations, as they tend to avoid the sour taste.
Dwight also likes Rib-B-Que and burgers. Squirrels are actually omnivores and also like to eat meat they find. It’s very dangerous and unhealthy for them, but hey, sugar is supposedly unhealthy for us too, right? 😉
StarWad’s Comment:
Please don’t spoil anything in Warrior Cats because I haven’t finished the fourth book. But him eating thise foods is important.
