Quinlin vos VS Darth malak
“Quinlan Vos was a male Kiffar Jedi Master in the Jedi Order and a General in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. He hailed from the planet Kiffu in the Inner Rim. With long, dreadlocked hair and a band of pale yellow across his upper face, Vos was gifted with psychometric powers which allowed him to “read memories” from inanimate objects through physical contact.
Vos had an ongoing struggle with the dark side of the Force, The Sith Lords Darth Sidious and Darth Tyranus both showed an interest in him, and while Vos served Dooku for a while, he eventually redeemed himself and was readmitted into the Jedi Order. As the war continued, Vos served on numerous missions, including the hunt for the Hutt crime lord Ziro Desilijic Tiure. Throughout the war, Vos was openly disdainful to the clone troopers under his command, which lead to him being disliked by clones and hated by Sergeant Kal Skirata.
Vos was on Kashyyyk as part of the battle there when Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, in reality the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, issued the order to clone troopers to kill their Jedi superiors. Despite serious injuries, Vos escaped as one of the few survivors of the Great Jedi Purge and settled on Kashyyyk with his lover, Khaleen Hentz, and raised a son named Korto Vos.”
“Darth Malak was a Human male who reigned as a Dark Lord of the Sith during the Jedi Civil War. Before becoming a Sith Lord, Alek was born on the planet Quelii in the Outer Rim Territories. When the Mandalorians attacked his homeworld, he escaped the battle and fled to the Galactic Republic, whose immigration records assigned the name of his home village as his surname. He was trained in the ways of the Force by the Jedi Order, and was nicknamed Squint by his fellow Jedi, before eventually becoming a Jedi Knight. During the Mandalorian Wars, Alek, Revan—his closest friend and fellow Jedi Knight—and their faction of Jedi disobeyed the Jedi Council and aided the Republic’s war effort through scouting missions in the Outer Rim. He befriended the Jedi Padawan Zayne Carrick and, after taking the name “Malak” in order to avoid an arrest warrant issued by the Council, assisted Carrick in defeating the secretive Jedi Covenant. As the war progressed, Malak became a military general and gained a reputation as a headstrong warrior who recklessly charged into danger. Malak and Revan ultimately defeated the Mandalorians in the war’s final battle at Malachor V, and pursued the surviving Mandalorians into the Unknown Regions. However, the two Jedi encountered the Sith Emperor of the reconstituted remnants of the ancient Sith Empire and fell to the dark side of the Force under his tutelage, becoming Sith Lords.”
The two will now be compared In The usual ways, 1 physical condition, 2 weapon skill, 3 force ability.
Physical condition.
Quinlin vos exercised more than his mind during his long life as a Jedi, this resulted in his great strength, constitution, and endurance.
During his life as a Jedi, malak was very strong in body if not in mind, but as he became a sith, he seemed less concerned with his exercising regime.
This is hard to compare, vos and malak where both in very good physical condition,
But for the fact that malak’s body was being constantly ravaged as the price of the dark side, I believe the winner of this round would be Quinlin vos.
Weapon skill
“Quinlan Vos was trained as a Jedi Guardian and he wielded a single green-bladed lightsaber, though his chosen blade color changed throughout his lifetime. He was a master of Ataru and taught his apprentice Aayla Secura everything he knew.
Vos was also trained in Vaapad by Sora Bulq, though he was not a master of it. Vos would later demonstrate his new talents inadvertently during a practice session with Mace Windu, who immediately recognized his move as part of Vaapad. Windu abruptly halted the duel, warning Vos not to use Vaapad again, as Vos was already considered to tread too closely to the dark side for him to safely employ Vaapad.
However, while Vos was serving as a double agent for Count Dooku during the Clone Wars, he was encouraged by Bulq, who had by that time allied with Dooku, to take up Vaapad’s power again. Mace Windu, in his private memoir, expressed concerns and suspected Vos has mastered Vaapad to a degree greater than than the Kiffar Jedi revealed. Quinlan Vos would later demonstrate his level of mastery of Vaapad in defeating Sora Bulq during the Siege of Salecumi in lightsaber combat.
Vos’s abilities with a lightsaber allowed him to defeat and slay three Dark Acolytes during the Clone Wars; Kadrian Sey, Tol Skorr, and even Sora Bulq. It should be noted that Bulq was considered to be one of the greatest swordsmen of his time.”
“During his time as a Jedi, Malak was trained as a Jedi Guardian, focusing on lightsaber combat and physical aspects of the Force. Eventually, Darth Malak came to be counted among the most skilled swordsmen of his time.
In combat, he fought in a one-handed, aggressive style.”
While malak was undoubtably a master of physical combat, he seemed to prefer to use the force.
This is also hard,
Okay, after long comparison and deep thought, I have come to believe that malak would win this.
Now here are my reasons. I have red the book in which Quinlin vos defeated Sora Bulq, and while the accomplishment was no small feat, vos seemed to have won as much by luck as skill, and he had the help of his master tholme and his apprentice Aalya secura pouring their energy into him.
The winner is Malak
Force ability.
“In addition to his considerable lightsaber combat skills, Vos had the power of psychometry, the ability to read images from objects. Vos was also one of the few Jedi who was able to use Force cloak, which he learned from Tholme and taught Secura. He could locate his enemies based on their effects on the environment.
While working undercover, Dooku personally trained Quinlan Vos in the dark side and in a variety of dark side powers including Force lightning, Force choke, and to tame animals and bend them to his will, most notably a krayt dragon.”
“During his torture sessions at the hands of Demagol on Flashpoint Station, Alek used the Force to block the pain that Demagol caused him. As a Jedi, Malak used the Force as a means of protection and healing. During his later reign as a Sith Lord, Malak employed the Force to choke more than one person at a time. Before his final duel with Revan, Malak demonstrated this ability to the former Sith Lord, simultaneously choking two of the Jedi that he had captured. Immediately after, the Dark Lord exemplified his skills by throwing and plunging his lightsaber into the chest of one of the captured Jedi. Malak’s strength with the Force enabled him to create a whirlwind of Force energy that would encircle his victim, and he also possessed the ability to create a stasis field with the Force that he used to freeze his enemies in place. He was proficient in using the Force to augment his speed and to suppress the abilities of another Force user. Malak was able to render himself virtually invulnerable to most Force powers for a limited amount of time, and was additionally capable of leaping large distances in order to reach his enemy.
Darth Malak was able to amplify his screams, triggering shock waves that rippled through the Force. He also used the Force to tap into his innermost fears, pain, and hate and convert them into intense anger, which could be channeled to increase his speed, strength, and ferocity. Malak’s connection to the dark side gave him the use of Dark Healing, an ability that fueled one’s regenerative processes by draining the life force of another. He was skilled in the use of Sith sorcery. During his time as a Sith, Malak was proficient in Force lightning, which he used with ease while torturing Bastila Shan and while dueling Revan aboard the Star Forge.”
This seems rather one sided to me.
Malak wins
If the Darth Malak and Quinlan Vos had ever fought, I believe it would have gone like this, Malak would taunt vos for a while and would have drawn him into an attack.
Malak would have allowed the fight to continue for a while, then show his full power in the dark side.
Vos would fight to his last breath, and Malak would have granted his last breath quickly.
