NO JOKE! Remember, I used to be a newspaper reporter. I and can promise you…. this is real news! So– with your parent’s permission — drop an email to your local newspaper and local TV news departments. YOU NEVER KNOW!

So on February 25th, I sent my letter to my principal. I found out that the next school board meeting for my district was on March 11. I am going to present our case there. I encourage you to find out when your next meeting is and prepare for that. I will tell you how it goes.

So I don’t think my posts have been coming through. Either that or they are just taking a really long time. So in this post, I will recap everything in my most recent posts. First, I have created a template for you to use for your letter to your principal. You will make a copy so you have your own private copy. It is link #1. Second I have sent a copy of my letter to y principal and have yet to hear a reply. I will be presenting at my school board meeting on March 11. I encourage you to find out when your next school board meeting is and (virtually or in-person) attend it. For some of you, you may be able to write a written comment and have it read aloud at the meeting. this is not the case for me but if you are nervous you may want to do it this way. Also, remember to tell your principal to come to the school board meeting so they might be able to speak. The multipurpose doc link is link #2. May the folds be with you.
