If you asked me who the heroes of my childhood were, I won’t say Han Solo, or Luke Skywalker. In fact, I got into Star Wars not even a year ago, and I’m nearly 16.
I grew up without TV, but I read everything that fell into my hands. So I read Harry Potter too, of course. I grew up with these books (among many others I don’t want to list here), so I might say that Harry, Ron and Hermione were the heroes of my childhood. I still like them, so I made Origami figures of them. They’re my own design, I folded them like I folded my own Foldy-Wan, with different hair (Hermione’s was a bit tricky) and I painted them myself too. Maybe I’m going to fold even more characters from Harry Potter – there are plenty of them!
1) After you submit... be patient. It can take 2-4 weeks for it to appear, simply because of the number of submissions submitted before yours.
2) A STRICT policy on the site is NO PEOPLE in your origami photos, including you. (Your hand is okay, but that’s it!)
3) Remember, clicking on SUPERFOLDER STOOKINESS is the best way to see ALL the origami SFs have posted! And if you like it, comment on it!
4) Take a little extra time and make sure you've got the BEST picture you can get of your origami. Maybe even crop and rotate the photo using a website like: PICRESIZE.com.
