I just watched “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” on 4K Ultra HD and ate Reese’s Pieces, which Elliott used to lure E.T. into his house. Reese’s Pieces were used instead of M&M’S because Mars, Incorporated denied the filmmakers’ request, fearing E.T. would frighten children due to his appearance. As a result, Reese’s Pieces sales skyrocketed. Because of this, more companies requested their products to be used in movies.
P.S. The only part I disliked was when E.T. unexpectedly reacted to a “Tom & Jerry” cartoon on TV because I dislike all classic cartoons except for the ones made by Walt Disney.
P.P.S. My favorite part was when everyone’s bicycles were flying thanks to E.T. because it is one of the greatest scenes in film history.
