Daily Ewok 94

SuperFolder SFJishua

If there’s two words to describe Scott, they would be “top” and “notch!” He even has more class than Squinky (see Daily Ewok #35), if that’s possible. As far as everyone knows, Scott’s mustache is actually real, and not another practical joke from the infamous prankster ewoks. He takes very good care of it, and combs it every day. Scott also takes care of himself by dressing only in the fanciest of clothes. He got a suit and hat custom-made to fit his oddly-proportioned ewok body. He looks the part, acts the part, but Scott doesn’t actually fill the part of an aristocrat ewok. Like I mentioned in the description for Lucas (see Daily Ewok #57), ewoks don’t really use money. That being said, there is definitely a difference between rich ewoks and poor ewoks. (rich in poor in possessions, not in money) While Scott definitely acts like he belongs to the richer category, he actually falls into the poorer one. He doesn’t have a lot besides the clothes on his back and all of his fancy accessories. No, Scott isn’t as poor as Patches (see Daily Ewok #45) once was, but still owns overall less stuff than the average ewok. (Patches is finally starting to see some improvements in his life, all that hoping really paid off!) Very few ewoks actually know of Scott’s financial situation because they just assume he’s rich. That’s exactly what he wants them to think, for whatever reason, he doesn’t want ewoks to know that he’s poor. Maybe Scott is embarrassed, maybe he’d rather hang around more sophisticated ewoks, or maybe he doesn’t want to believe the truth himself. None of these reasons should be enough for Scott to lie about his life. If he’s not happy, he should make changes, not stretch the truth to others to make it sound like he’s okay. So I guess that changes those first two words. Scott may act top notch, but he could definitely raise his honesty up a couple notches!
