Everything in life is pretty cool to this little wokling. In Carl’s world, he only focuses on the positive side of things, and completely ignores the negative. This isn’t a terrible thing, but it can lead to problems. When stormtroopers invaded Endor, Carl ignored it. This time, choosing ignorance wasn’t dangerous, but it could’ve been. Carl could have been minding his own business, come across one of the troopers, and have no clue what to do. To fix that, Carl needs to acknowledge the negative side of things. No, it’s not fun, but the world isn’t perfect. Knowing that negative things can happen will help Carl to prepare for when they do happen. As Carl grows up, this will be easier, but for now, he should just celebrate the good in life, acknowledge the bad in life, and be ready to experience both!
