Hi! This is my first submission. I’ve read all the OY books and I’ve got Art2D2’s Guide too, and I love them! I’ve done origami since I was a little child, I don’t know since when exactly, so it was clear for me that I HAVE to try the origami descripted in the books. Now I’ve got a whole bunch of it.
Most of the models in the picture are made with instructions from the book or from this website, but I invented some, too.
From top left to bottom right: A red lightsaber (basically just a rolled up piece of paper), two Lukes (the left one is self-designed, the right one is from the book), Foldy-Wan, Darth Paper, Kirigami General Grievous, the Fortune Wookiee, Princess Leia, Chewbacca (my own design too), Jar Jar Binks, Jabba, the Emperor, Admiral Ackbar, Yoda (the one from the first book), Han Foldo, a Stormtrooper helmet, C3PO, R2D2 and a Kirigami Ewok.
1) After you submit... be patient. It can take 2-4 weeks for it to appear, simply because of the number of submissions submitted before yours.
2) A STRICT policy on the site is NO PEOPLE in your origami photos, including you. (Your hand is okay, but that’s it!)
3) Remember, clicking on SUPERFOLDER STOOKINESS is the best way to see ALL the origami SFs have posted! And if you like it, comment on it!
4) Take a little extra time and make sure you've got the BEST picture you can get of your origami. Maybe even crop and rotate the photo using a website like: PICRESIZE.com.
