In “Fantasia” and “Fantasia 2000,” Mickey Mouse played the sorcerer’s apprentice and wore the hat that belonged to the sorcerer, Yen Sid (which is Disney spelled backwards). The Sorcerer’s Hat was the icon of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the third of four theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort, located at the hub of the park from September 28, 2001, until its removal on January 7, 2015.
P.S. Disney’s Hollywood Studios was originally known as Disney MGM Studios until 2008.
