Two of these silent, red-robed guards accompany Emperor Palpatine everywhere he goes, making sure that no pesky rebels try to assassinate him. They stand on either side of him, flanking him, but who knows, maybe they know some other formations. This particular guard has been protecting the Emperor day and night for a week, not getting any sleep or food, so behind that neutral mask of emotionless duty to his master, that guy is just craving a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich, a soda, and a good night’s sleep. After all, he has some standardized testing tomorrow, so he needs to get some rest before the test. (However, he doesn’t need extra FunTime sessions. He’s not that desperate yet!)
