First TALK TO TOM of 2025!

SFs!!! The big problem with TTT is that a lot of the questions come in right after I post a TTT. Then they sit there for a long time and by the time I answer them the SF may have grown up and forgotten not only the question but also how to fold YODA!

If we get a bunch of new questions in the next few days, I’ll try to have a new TTT sooner!

Anyway…. here we go. Hope some of you are still around:

What is your favorite Star Wars movie 🍿 by the way mine is revenge of the Sith

TOM SAYS: Empire Strikes Back is maybe my favorite, but seeing the first Star Wars in the theatre when I was a kid was a life-changing experience!!!

Tom what is your favorite origami yoda book mine is emperor pickeltine

TOM SAYS: I’m really glad you like Pickletine!! In some ways it’s my favorite, too. It was a real celebration of the whole idea of Star Wars origami and SuperFolders and everything we had going here at oy.com. Plus, it’s the big finale!

I know you said the chances were slim of doing another Origami Yoda book, but you know what they say: “NEVER TELL ME THE ODDS!” while I know a spin off with Captain Micah will probably never happen, Dwight and Kellen did say they would spend their time on the bus in Emperor Pickletine developing a new “How to do Stuff” case file, which I would love to see. I recently made my first lip balm rocket, and figured out how to fake crack my knuckles, and I know everyone would go nuts for anything new from this series. Plus, if you end up making it, you could finally have a book with the Origami Mandalorian and Grogu on it!

TOM SAYS: Not only do I agree, but I have tried to make that book happen!

Sadly, it was not to be… A lot of people have to agree about a lot of stuff to make a book and we just couldn’t get it to work.

Dear Tom what is your favorite pringles flavor

TOM SAYS: I LOVE trying different flavors of potato chips. And ketchup chips are among my all-time favorites. I also like the new All-Dressed chips! (New to the US at least, apparently Canada has had them for awhile.)

As for Pringles specifically, I think I’ll go with PIZZA FLAVOR.

Tips from Webmaster Sam

1) After you submit... be patient. It can take 2-4 weeks for it to appear, simply because of the number of submissions submitted before yours.

2) A STRICT policy on the site is NO PEOPLE in your origami photos, including you. (Your hand is okay, but that’s it!)

3) Remember, clicking on SUPERFOLDER STOOKINESS is the best way to see ALL the origami SFs have posted! And if you like it, comment on it!

4) Take a little extra time and make sure you've got the BEST picture you can get of your origami. Maybe even crop and rotate the photo using a website like: PICRESIZE.com.
