Gather the kiddos – this is gonna be fun!Inkwood is thrilled to be hosting Tom Angleberger for drawing demo, short presentation, Q&A, and signing afterward to celebrate his newest book Two-Headed Chicken afterwards. APRIL 22 — Silver Unicorn Graphic Novel Fest, Acton Massachussetts — BOSTON area
This spring, we will be hosting our first annual Kids Graphic Novel Festival! We have always loved kids graphic novels here, and are excited to celebrate them with their own special day! Borne out both by their sales in the store and with the enthusiasm that kids greet them, we know that these are the books that kids want.
We will have more than a dozen authors and illustrators on hand for this first festival, and you can read more about them and see their relevant books at the bottom of this page. The festival is not only free to attend, but we’ll also be giving out free tote bags to at least the first 400 arriving attendees on the day of the festival!
MAY 7 – Richmond Comix, Free Comic Book Day, Richmond Virginia — Time ? — (All day?)
NOTE: This store puts on a big event for Free Comic Book Day and I’m pretty sure there will be some free books. However, my books will probably NOT be free. But I will be doing free drawings, etc…
MAY 20 – Gaithersburg Book Festival, Gaithersburg Maryland. (DC AREA) — TIME ?
NOTE: This is a BIG event and I’m sure there will be lots of other authors and illustrators there, too.
