SFs… We are all mourning the loss of Carrie Fisher and her mother, Debbie Reynolds.

Princess Leia has been a part of my life for almost as long as I can remember. She was an antidote to the helpless heroines in way too many other movies. Leia, like so many real women, was smart, tough, resourceful and just plain awesome! And even though Carrie Fisher had a complicated, non-fairy-tale life, I think she was all of those things, too.
