I hope to write many, many more books.
Right now I do not have a new Origami Yoda book coming out, but I do have:
The Qwikpick Papers series Book 2 coming in spring 2015.
Return of the Jedi, Summer 2015
McToad (a picture book), Fall 2015
A series with Cece coming 2016!
And of course, my other books: Fake Mustache, Horton Halfpott, Stonewall Hinkleman and Crankee Doodle.
Plus, Cece’s book, El Deafo, tells the real story behind Caroline, from the OY books.

A: No, never.
Q: Is this Website shutting down now that the series is over?
NO! The website stays! It’s a place for you guys to show off your Star Wars origami — and me, too, sometimes. So keep folding and submitting and having fun!

Tom- I teach 4th grade in Oregon (with a job share partner) and we are just finishing reading Origami Yoda to our class and they LOVE IT!! We were talking about the many different themes in Origami Yoda and one amazing student said, the theme was “wisdom comes in all shapes and sizes.” We think that needs to be on a tshirt with one of your drawings of Dwight and Yoda! Can we make that happen? How? Also, my job share partner and I saw you speak in San Antonio last year. The person selling your books from Abrams had an extra Fortune Wookie Cardboard poster. We carried it on the plane. It is hanging in our classroom. Thank you for inspiring so many children to LOVE reading.

Great, what I did is random fold until I had made a tiny cloak. Then I thought “what’s small, where’s a cloak, and is in Star Wars? A jawa!” So I cut out some black paper and eyes and BAM!! Kekit the Jawa was born.
