IMPORTANT NOTICE OF TOTAL ROCKETS-ISH-NESS:
I have(finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) perfected Foldy-Wan.
And I know you’re thinking: well, Tom made instrux for Foldy-Wan already…
However, the design shown in Kellen’s doodles in TSAOJTP and PL is quite different and more complex than the design with instructions. I have been trying to achieve a design that is all origami, and has some sort of color change in it ever since I saw the first pic of the origami Jedi Knight.
And at last, I have. Notice, in the doodles, that Foldy-Wan has a REALLY big mustache. Well, with the help of a couple of pleats and a complicated 2 squash folds, I managed that.
The design starts the same way as Darth Paper, folding the top corners almost to he center. This makes the beard, and eventually, after the head is folded, you can fold down the body. Then fold out the sides like PL’s hair, and that reveals the other side of the paper(brown side).
It is TOTAL ROCKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Y’know, I first encountered this series in 2011 when a friend sent me an Origami Yoda and photocopied instrux to make one. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but in the fall of 2012 I remembered the instrux and bought the first book on my mom’s Kindle. I was hooked immediately. Then for the Christmas of that year, my mom and dad got me the Fortune Wookiee, then Darth Paper in 2013, and Art2, and Jabba, then finally Princess Labelmaker. I really can’t imagine the series ending, but I understand. You are an amazing author, and you’re books have some really good elements (I read some of the chapters to my mom: her current favorite is the Big Pink), and just really relatable characters. May the Force Be With You, Always.
