Talk to Tom: Week of Feb 17 — Just TWO weeks to go!

Hey SFs!

Just two weeks until the book OFFICIALLY comes out. And you know what that means… someone somewhere will probably find a copy that has leaked out somehow!

If you’re the one, go ahead and read it, but please DO NOT POST SPOILERS ON THIS WEBSITE!!! (But please let me know where you found it…)

After all, the book is full of surprises and mysteries, such as:

Can Professor FunTime and Gizmo actually get worse?
Why won’t Murky write a casefile?
Why is Harvey scuttling around on the floor like a crab?
What happens when a character purposefully ignores Origami Yoda’s advice?
What will happen when Lance finally gets to see Parasite Within: Legend of the Vampyre? Could it change all their lives?
Will the McQuarrie Seventh Grade field trip really be to…. GREENHILL PLANTATION?
The BIG mystery, of course, is WHO stole the casefile and gve it to… MS. RABBSKI?

Just two weeks until you’ll know all the answers! Meanwhile, speculate, leave a comment, ask a question, or just say hi….

Not very good at things like this being an oldie but just wondered if there’s any way of getting hold of signed copies in the UK or posters etc? Got a super fan at home who’s had a really rough year and it’d be great to be able to?

Since it might be hard to get an actual thing, how about a digital doodle. Ask him to name a scene fromt he movie and I’ll draw the origami version of it and Sam will post it on the site you to download.

That’d be great, trying to keep it a secret but my favourite would be anything from empire strikes back involving Yoda, take your pick.

Not sure if you have world book day in the US but here the kids go to school dressed up so my Tom is going as Dwight, busy making the biggie size t shirt! Just wondered if captain Dwight’s cape is any particular colour?

I recently made a really cool star wars origami out of a warm up paper in math class. (the stooky thing is the warm ups are 1/4 sheets of paper so i could fould a boba fett in class while listening to my math teacher) 😀

I to have like 20 or 30 origami figures in my desk. I do them out of sticky notes that I have in my desk. Everybody in my class, (not really, only couple people) love my origami. One boy especially. Tips from Webmaster Sam

1) After you submit... be patient. It can take 2-4 weeks for it to appear, simply because of the number of submissions submitted before yours.

2) A STRICT policy on the site is NO PEOPLE in your origami photos, including you. (Your hand is okay, but that’s it!)

3) Remember, clicking on SUPERFOLDER STOOKINESS is the best way to see ALL the origami SFs have posted! And if you like it, comment on it!

4) Take a little extra time and make sure you've got the BEST picture you can get of your origami. Maybe even crop and rotate the photo using a website like: PICRESIZE.com.
