Talk to Tom week of Dec. 16: What TRIANGULAR thing will you make over the holiday break?

Heys SFs!

I imagine everyone has some sort of break coming up… so what are you going to do with it? Some people are going to waste their break on TV and cheeseballs… but not you, you’re SUPERFOLDERS! We’re going to do something TRIANGULAR, right?

(Triangular is the new Murky word created by MattWeb200. What does it mean? Either Epicly Awesome or Awesomely Epic or something like that!)

On Jan. 1 we are going to have a special TRIANGULAR Showcase.

Here’s how to get in it:

1. Do something creative, safe and TRIANGULAR! (Does not have to feature triangles…)

2. It should have some connection to Star Wars or Origami or my books (or other books) — but it does not have to be Star Wars origami.

3. Take a GOOD picture of it! For this, an EPIC photo is a must. SUBMIT the photo with the word TRIANGULAR in the title. (Make sure you spell it right)

Sam and I will pick the most Shakespearean to post in the showcase.

Note: A piece of white paper folded up isn’t going to cut it. Use the extra time here to do a TRIANGULAR coloring job on your origami!

So, use the comments together to tell me what you’ve got planned! Let’s not keep secrets! It’s not a competition… Go ahead and get us excited!

I’m taking finals this week. I wish I wouldn’t have to take them and I could stay home and fold origami. My schedule is messed up because of finals too. They swapped around our classes so that 3rd 4th and 5th period are first so we can test. I wish finals tests were options. I have 3 more days until Christmas break.

Hmmmmm I actually don’t know what to make this time. I mean I have so much green paper now. And I have like 2 rolls of that Big Lots “Perfect Yoda” paper. Tips from Webmaster Sam

1) After you submit... be patient. It can take 2-4 weeks for it to appear, simply because of the number of submissions submitted before yours.

2) A STRICT policy on the site is NO PEOPLE in your origami photos, including you. (Your hand is okay, but that’s it!)

3) Remember, clicking on SUPERFOLDER STOOKINESS is the best way to see ALL the origami SFs have posted! And if you like it, comment on it!

4) Take a little extra time and make sure you've got the BEST picture you can get of your origami. Maybe even crop and rotate the photo using a website like: PICRESIZE.com.
