YEs, I wrote the books and folded most of the cover stars (not the FW). Mostly it’s a matter of fooling around with scrap paper. Getting the right shapes and then making a finished model with the right colors…

No. The original instrux call for a regular piece of paper.

Try a 8.5×11 piece of paper. That’s just a regular sheet of printer paper uncut.
You might also try slightly different sizes, like 7 x 11.
If the paper is taller, you can make the pocket deeper.
