Hope all you SFs had a great Murky Day and Turky Day, too. Did you see the Wimpy Kid balloon in the big parade? Totally blimp!

Before we get to the poll… please remember: STAY ON TOPIC when commenting on other SFs stuff. (Or mine for that matter.) Nothing is more annoying than 50 comments about Lady Gaga (or whatever) and hardly any about the origami in the picture.

But here at TALK TO TOM, you do NOT have to stay on topic. This is the one place where you can write about anything you want … as long as it doesn’t offend Webmaster Sam, who has been deleting comments like crazy lately. (Speaking of which, let’s stop saying “Oh my God!” all the time. It does bother some SFs, so why not say…

Tom, do you believe in santa? Well I do, I made secret camera to spy on santa threw xmas eve night. It will be able to go threw the whole night, because it is charging the whole time.I will turn it off in the morning. When I looke at the video, I will keep skipping until I see santa in the video. It will be fun. I hope I get him on tape. So, on xmas eve, wish me luck!!!!!!!! <('-')>

Dude, he sees you when you’re sleeping. He knows when you’re awake. The elves watch a giant computer 24/7 watching kids. They know if you hid the camera, because their secret cameras caught YOUR secret camera on film. Take it down before the reindeer attack you.

This is a true story that happened right now. When I asked my yoda ” Like the new member? ( my new little yoda)”. I put little yoda in the big yoda’s pocket. When I came back from cleaning the kitchen, I SWEAR, my big yoda’s smile was llike that smirk of yoda’s in the first book. no,I he was. SMILING! SMILING! He is keeping on with it. I’m freaking out!

Chewie the red- nosed wookiee,

Had a very shiny nose and if you ever saw it,

All of the other wookies,

Used to laugh and call him names,

They never let poor Chewie,

I have some Q’s fore you, Tom. 1. Do you have to PAY the publisher if you want to publish the book? 2. If, I wanted to put your name in the acknoledgements (and I will), do I have to ask the person first? 3. How DO you find a publisher?

A regular publisher pays the author, but is very very picky.

A subsidy or vanity publisher charges the author and is not picky at all.

I’d be honored to be in your acknowledgements.

Finding a publisher: Very difficult. It took me 15 years of rejection before my first book was published!

Read “Writers MArketplace” to get started.

Tips from Webmaster Sam

1) After you submit... be patient. It can take 2-4 weeks for it to appear, simply because of the number of submissions submitted before yours.

2) A STRICT policy on the site is NO PEOPLE in your origami photos, including you. (Your hand is okay, but that’s it!)

3) Remember, clicking on SUPERFOLDER STOOKINESS is the best way to see ALL the origami SFs have posted! And if you like it, comment on it!

4) Take a little extra time and make sure you've got the BEST picture you can get of your origami. Maybe even crop and rotate the photo using a website like: PICRESIZE.com.
