Daily Ewok 99

SuperFolder SFJishua

Remember about five ewoks ago, when I said that Scott’s body was “oddly proportioned”? (see Daily Ewok #94) Well, he’s not the only one. All ewoks, including Bosco here, have strange proportions, inside and out. Bosco wanted to test that theory, so he got himself an X-ray, and took a look inside of himself. The results shocked Bosco. His skeleton was much much smaller than he expected. His skull was huge, and his body seemed tiny. So then, what is all that other stuff that’s not bone? It could be muscle, but Bosco isn’t that strong, and not even Biff (see Daily Ewok #54) has THAT much muscle. It could be fat, but that wouldn’t make much sense either. Bosco exercises just about as much as Stewart (see Daily Ewok #88) and he certainly doesn’t eat the vast amounts of food that Gilbert (see Daily Ewok #95) and Winston (see Daily Ewok #4) do. The only other option would be fur. But that’s a LOT of fur, right? Actually, ewoks are just fuzzier than everyone thinks. Sure, there is bone, muscle, and a little bit of fat in there, but a large present of an ewoks’ body is fluff. This is so they can survive in cold temperatures, and is why Filipe (see Daily Ewok #63) was able to make it out there on Hoth without any gear. The extra fur also enables ewoks to fall from high heights without getting too hurt, and walk away from the fall with just minor injuries, like a broken arm or a concussion (see Daily Ewoks #37 and #97). Bosco finally found out how ewoks can do so much, how ewoks can be so much. The fur empowers ewoks to do anything, from having the widest range of emotions, to having hobbies, skills, and professions. It keeps them up when they are down, and gives them that extra boost of courage when they need it. In short, fur makes ewoks who they are, and Bosco never would have figured that out had he not asked a simple question. Just one question could change the way you look at the world, or life itself. What questions have you been pondering? Whatever they are, persue the answers to them, and you will discover a world you never would have imagined. Take a look at things the way Bosco would, at you might go far. A long time ago, I asked myself: “how should I post these origami ewoks that I made?” 99 ewoks later, I am still asking the same question. See you tomorrow for the grand event, the 100th Daily Ewok!
