Today’s ewok, Terry, has the opposite problem that yesterday’s ewok, Filipe (see Daily Ewok #63) had. While Filipe was unbelievably cold, Terry is unbelievably hot, or at least his mouth is. One of the ewoks in the village got his hands on some ghost peppers, and he’s been handing them out to any ewok foolish enough to take one. Terry was one of those fools. No one dared him to eat the pepper (see Daily Ewok #33), it was more of Terry’s own skepticism (see Daily Ewok #26). He didn’t believe that ghost peppers could be THAT hot, right? Wrong. The second that pepper touched Terry’s tongue, it felt like a fire scorched his entire body. The pain was unbearable. You could say he felt more than a little regret for trying the pepper. Although, Terry technically accomplished his goal. He wanted to know if the ghost peppers were actually as spicy as ewoks said they were, and he did find out. Maybe sometime in the future, Terry can figure out a way to test his theories without burning his tongue in the process!
