ABN_Evs How-2-Fold-Planes Great-Weight Paper Plane

SuperFolder AIRBORN_EEvEE_Folds

okaaaay, soooo, this is my first post here, and i literally came up with a totally waffles Paper-Plane Design YESTERDAY.-its an all-round thing, can fly in most places( as long as there’s PLEEEEENTY of space, and really, your going to want a high-celling or a wide field/park for this one- because DAAAAAAANG this thing is as graceful as a STORK( despite its name being “The Great Weight”

just squint at the page- no, im kidding, im going to write the transcript here because my writing got veerrrry faint in the pic, my having to use my pc’s webcam to take a it and all so here’s the TRANSCRIPT:

1: Fold Paper in half, the open again

2: fold corners in

3:Fold Point to “X”(also pretty blurry, despite my having converted it into a .PNG after i cropped it on PIXLR-E, in short, bring the top point to the bottom edge of the corner-fold you made on #2)

4:Fold edges in so that their once upper corners are now touching the middle

5: FLIP!

6: Now, Fold Like your making a basic DART, but part of the edges we folded in on the last step pop out with the fold!

7: Fold in half against the crease we made on step #1.

8: Fold Wings down so the back end of the Keel Is About 1.inch and so the front of the Keel has about half a centimeter of point that’s not wing.

9: fold Up the Triangular tips so that their fold-edge is perpendicular to the wing’s fold-edge.

THROWING: (Refer to the Drawing, at least THAT part of it isnt faded in the image, OH, and, if you want to know how to tell what the plane will look like in fligt, take it like you were about to throw it, and loosen your Thumb and pointer finger until its sort of just resting there, and there you have it, how to tell what position the wings are in when it flying, B.T.W., the wings need to be about 3 degrees upwards to keep the pane stable .) Throw with only a little vigor at any thing form a high angle(40 degrees) to slightly downwards( maximum of 10 degrees is safe, unless standing on a hill or something). unless you want this thing to go into the ground like a lawn dart after hitting the apex of a glide, trim the tail UP ONLY A TIIINY BIT,(like, one degree) ANY HIGHER AND IT WILL JUST STALL AND KILL THE PILOT, ok?(although it WILL take a few throws to get it right.)

This is recommended to be thrown in a field, and can deal with winds around 2.3 Knots( and BOY CAN IT! ), though you can do it indoors, just make sure there’s a high-celling and plenty of airspace for it to get around on, and it WILL require trimming for best results, just, whatever you do DONT MAKE A RUDDER, it will make the thing barrel into the ground at even 2 degrees of rudder on ether side. ALSO, trimming should be VERRY LIGHT, despite the name, “The Great Weight”, an homage to the Great-Weigh shark, its actually a really gentle plane and requires some love, and it’s a great all-round glider because its relatively easy and quick to fold( as you can probably tell), and you can make it do all manner of tricks, with proper throws and trimming!

aaand THAT IT!, plz coment on how-well it flies(or not) and ill give feedback/tell you what you did wrong.( if you did, i mean, it’s only 9 folds )
