How about a resolution to be right-side-up in 2015?

Here’s a resolution I’d love for the SFs to make…

NO MORE UPSIDE DOWN OR SIDEWAYS PHOTOS IN 2015

BEFORE you take a picture, make sure you have the camera tilted the right way. It can be hard to tell AFTER the photo is taken, so make sure you check BEFORE you take it.

Look at the photo. Looks like you’re ready to snap the picture, right?

Thanks, R2! R2 noticed that the camera icon is turned the wrong way. If you hit the button now, this would be yet another sideways photo!

I kow it’s tricky because I make the same mistake sometimes, too!

Some people think that Webmaster Sam is somehow messing up their photos. Nope, he posts them the way he gets them. (When he makes a showcase, he goes through and rotates any that are wrong.)

So make a resolution to take an extra 5 seconds and make sure your photos are right side up BEFORE you take them!!!

 






Tips from Webmaster Sam

1) After you submit... be patient. It can take 2-4 weeks for it to appear, simply because of the number of submissions submitted before yours.

2) A STRICT policy on the site is NO PEOPLE in your origami photos, including you. (Your hand is okay, but that’s it!)

3) Remember, clicking on SUPERFOLDER STOOKINESS is the best way to see ALL the origami SFs have posted! And if you like it, comment on it!

4) Take a little extra time and make sure you've got the BEST picture you can get of your origami. Maybe even crop and rotate the photo using a website like: PICRESIZE.com.
